THE CAVERN OF THE SYBILLA
The cavern of the cumana sybilla was one of the most important and known sanctuary of the past times. I reputation is known also between the verses of the poet Virgilio. she was the priestess of god Apollo and his oracle is situated in the city of Cuma. Her divine activity was placed among the Averno lake, near a cavern knosn as "the cavern of sybilla", where she wrote the message of the god on palm leafs, moved by the wind and interpretated by her about the destiny
